Next Regular Meeting: July 14th, 2026 6:00 PM
It is with sincere regret that the Port of Grandview announces the passing of District 2 Commissioner C. James “Jim” Sewell. He served as Grandview City Administrator for 21 years before being elected as one of the Port’s three Commissioners, serving for another 17 years. Jim was integral to the development of many projects and Business Parks within the Port District. He will long be remembered for his accomplishments and guidance as Port Commissioner, his outstanding work ethic, and his dedication to the Grandview community. He was an inspiration to us all.
