2024 Proposed Budget

Byam Business Park

The Port of Grandview's largest development is Byam Business Park.  Byam Business Park consists of 67 acres, zoned light industrial, and includes all infrastructure.

The business park is named after former Port of Grandview Commissioner Colleen Byam, who was a champion for economic development in Grandview during her three terms (18 years) as a Port Commissioner.  Colleen Byam was celebrated for playing an important role in helping to bring the Walmart Distribution Center, Yakima Valley College branch campus and numerous other businesses to Grandview.

All remaining lots in Byam Business Park were sold in 2020.

  • Fully serviced
  • Zoned M-1 Light Industrial/Commercial
  • High freeway visibility
  • Interstate 82 access within one mile

In a recent Industrial/Business Park Site Evaluation of available properties in Yakima County, Byam Business Park was ranked number four of 20 sites reviewed. The general evaluation included visibility, vehicle access, access to rail and air service, soils and drainage, utilities, other environmental constraints, readiness to proceed and marketability.

With Binding Site Plans and QuickSite Reviews, developments can proceed on a fast track without costly time delays or uncertainties about potential permitting and mitigation requirements.
